It has been a while since I last blogged...sorry, life and work have gotten in the way!
As you may know, we love working with Joomla. It is a wonderful CMS (Content Management System) that helps you create incredibly looking Web sites. ...Well, more and more we have also been working with Wordpress sites. Of course, we have been using Wordpress sites and building custom Wordpress sites for years, but only recently have I really thought Wordpress has taken a strong design leap.

Welcome to our new Blog. From time to time we shall give our thoughts, ideas, and opinions about topics such as web design, graphics, marketing, and in general cool things on the wonderful World Wide Web!
In regards to Web sites, the question people often ask is: is getting a new Web site worth the time, hassle and of course, cost? Will having a new and modern Web site really help our business and do we need it? The answer is YES and YES. These days and arguably for the last several years customers and potential customers will expect that any company worth their valuable time and business will not only have a Web site, but will have site that is informative, attractive, and user friendly. The reality is in this modern world your first point of contact and most often your initial handshake is with not with your hand, but with your Web site.
If you shook hands with someone and their shake was weak and their palm was sweaty, you probably would not be wanting to shake hands with them again anytime soon! Same goes with your Web site. Your Web site speaks volumes about you and your company: the look, the feel, and the vision that your first point of contact so often makes.
Sometimes it is not only about acquiring and keeping customers, but also about not losing them right off the bat. You will probably never know just how many potential customers you are losing due to a bad or less than adequate Web site. A business without customers obviously does not last long...And so why take the chance?
